The Central Department of Population Studies has Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program to be completed during 3-5 years. Currently, there are two wings of PhD students: one wing those who have enrolled in course-based PhD and another who have enrolled in PhD without provision of taking the course. Students are enrolled in the Dean Office of Humanities and Social Sciences and they are taught three semesters in collaboration with Central Departments. After completion of third semester, students start writing the PhD thesis.
